I had a freaking fantastic time in my favorite place in the world with these two wonderful people celebrating their engagement!
I absolutely love and adore these two. This shoot was full of love, humor, out of the comfort zone experiences, and all around FUN!
Ravi and Prisha are some very photogenic, lively, passionate, and funny people! I HAD SO MUCH FUN PHOTOGRAPHING THEM! They are a sweet couple and it’s easy to see they have a wonderful relationship. I look forward to the next time I get to hang out with these two. =)
Do you know what’s pretty funny about this post? Well, these two “kids” are currently married and yet, I am just now posting their engagement session. hahahaha. So, if you are drawn to these two lovely, hilarious ladies, and want more of them, their wedding pictures will be up on the blog soon, too!
Many people don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera and I always tell my clients to just be themselves and don’t worry about the camera. I feel like Jake and Aimee did exactly that. They were so much fun to work with! I was laughing non-stop during the entire shoot. They are light hearted individuals, with vibrant, fun personalities. You will never not have a good time with them. In fact, I’ve been eagerly waiting for them to invite me to their game night (umm…Jake? Aimee?).
Anyway, we strolled through downtown Raleigh. Mainly, we stayed near the Boylan Bridge Brewpub .
Back in April, Gillian and I vacationed with our good friends, Holly and Kelly. We had SO MUCH FUN! We explored Asheville, North Carolina. It is a place Gillian and I go to often and eventually, we hope to move there. Our mini vacation this time around included exploring the River Arts District , having breakfast at Sunny Point Cafe , having my very first glass blowing class at the Asheville Glass Center , meeting up with our good friend Gabe, staying at the Hot Springs Resort Campground, and hiking up to Max Patch .
Hanging out with Kelly and Holly always mean there will be a ton of laughter. They are super competitive- having short competitions throughout the entire weekend such as having a push-up and racing competition on the train tracks. They joke around with each other a lot and it’s fun to capture those special moments with them. I do have a lot of shots of the two of them during our vacation and Gillian got a tad jealous. lol. So…..she photo bombed quite a few photos with Kelly and Holly (see if you can notice which ones). Hint- one of them is not so obvious.
Good people. Good times. I couldn’t ask for a better mini vacation!
These two were so much fun to photograph and talk about some chemistry! They couldn’t keep their hands off each other or stop from smiling, which makes my job super easy of course. We took a stroll through Sarah Duke Gardens and then off to Tyler’s Taproom to eat and take some photos in the American Tobacco Historic District. I am looking forward to their wedding later in the year. I already know there is going to be a lot of mischief, laughter, and good times! You just wait =)
Yay for Ben and Lindsay’s engagement!!! Their wedding is actually in about a month and a half from now. I’m getting super excited! I met Ben and Lindsay through playing pool at Sharky’s Bar through the American PoolPlayers Association (APA). We all are on the same team, which is good because not only are they awesome at playing pool, they are super competitive. I wouldn’t have it any other way!
During the engagement shoot we had fun strolling around in Umstead Park and visiting the North Carolina Museum of Art. Ben and Lindsay are such a cute couple! They know how to have fun, they work hard in life, and you can tell they belong together. =)
